The I-house Party:
The initial hours of the scary evening were spent admiring the
various costumes thought up by other tenants of the International
House. Hats off to Tina's witch, Mary's raspberry, Weijean's ladybug,
and Hans' flasher outfits, but Derek's award for Best Costume goes to
Israel and his handcrafted Matador costume. Very impressive!! Many
pictures were taken (hopefully to appear sometime on this page),
before the crowds converged on the well-decorated auditorium for the
I-house halloween party. Unfortunately, the music was lacked
'dancibility' and drinks were hard to find. Luckily, limo-driver Rick
was awaiting at the front steps of I-house with the Ford Escort GT to
wisk us away to the Convent.......
The Convent Party:
The next stop for the evening was at the Co-op commonly known as
the Convent. Hosted by labmate John Absmeier, the beer and food were plentiful
and solid music blasted from the converted convent chapel. Impressive
costumes appeared on the bodies of Rick Hill (Dilbert), Mareike
Klassen (gipsy), and Lee and Noelle (zombies). I apologize if I have
forgotten others......
Back to the I-house Party:
The final stop was back to the I-house where
Mareike, Will, Santosh, and I tried to keep the party going. But,
alas, the friendly UCB police were closing the doors as we arrived and
people retired for the night.
Now what you all wanted to see.....The Cartman Dance!
